1950s Garden Spray Archive

This decade was one of growth for the Club. The war was behind us, men were out of the military and the suburbs were booming. MGCM (as it was then known) was very connected with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and the Minnesota State Horticultural Society. Among other achievements of this decade was spearheading the effort to acquire land and, in cooperation withe the University of Minnesota Department of Horticulture, establish the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen.
The collection for the 1950s is much more complete than the 1940s. The only missing issues are from several months of 1952. To read the Spray you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download here. Some of them are rather large files, so be patient as they load.
