1990s Garden Spray Archive

The Men’s Garden Club of Minneapolis, as it was then known, experienced a number of changes in the 1990s. We moved our public gardening efforts from the Fragrance Garden near the Minneapolis Institute for the Blind to a new border garden at Lyndale Park, across from the Lake Harriet Rose Garden. This garden was designed, planted and maintained by MWGCM in cooperation with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and the Department of Horticulture at the University of Minnesota. The garden included an area for testing perennials in our USDA zone 4 climate.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary in 1992, MWGCM began paid public tours of member and non-member gardens. Proceeds from the tours are used to provide scholarships for students of hosticulture at Minnesota colleges and universities.

To read the Spray you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download here. Some of the issues are rather large files, so be patient as they load.
